What is TRIFORN®

Trademark of TRIFRON already published TRIFRON® is the name of our polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin molded product.

The polytetrafluoroethylene resin is really new plastic, discovered in 1938 in the laboratory of U.S. company DuPont. The company industrialized the plastic from 1943 to 1950 and then started to put it on sale as "Teflon".

A thermoplastic resin, the polytetrafluoroethylene resin had been considered significantly challenging for molding process, due to its higher heat resistance and lower fluidity during heating than general plastic.

After years of research and development, we successfully overcame these technical difficulties and produced a variety of molded products, which have been manufactured and sold as TRIFRON® (trademark application is already published as No. 61241, 1994.

Our TRIFRON® products include not only primary materials of fluorocarbon resins (e.g. rods, sleeves) but secondary processed goods, such as gaskets and packing.

These products have been widely used as heat-resistant, chemical resistant or insulting materials in electric/electronic/mechanic industries and laboratory equipment.
