TRIFRON®

Fluorine resin types and their major features - Called "polytetrafluoroethylene" in general
- Macromolecule with most bonded structure of(CF2―CF2)(molecular weight ranges from 3 mil. to 8 mil.)
- No.1 chemical/physical properties among all resin fluorocarbon resins
- Low frication coefficient (about 0.02) and self-lubricating
- Profoundly non-sticky and heat-resistant

TRIFRON®PFA

- Tetrafluoroethylene- perfluorovinylether copolymer
- Highly resistant to heat (operating temperature at 260 °C) but can be melt-processed
- Transparency and mechanical strength at high temperature

TRIFRON®FEP

- Tetrafluoroethylene- hexafluoropropylene copolymer
- Hot-melt, easy-to-mold resin
- Operating temperature at 200 °C; profoundly non-adhesive and mold-releasable
- Excellent electrical insulation, transparency as well as unique optical transparency

TRIFRON®ETFE

- Tetrafluoroethylene- ethylene copolymer
- Hot-melt, best easy-to-mold resin
- Same molding process as general thermoplastic resins, such as injection/extrusion/blow molding
- Normal heat resistance (operating temperature at 150°C) but excellent mechanical strength

TRIFRON®CTFE

- Called "polychlorotrifuluoro-ethylene"
- Hard, transparent thermoplastic resin with chlorine in its molecule
- Operating temperature at 120°C but excellent low-temperature properties and flame resistance
