Ball sheets
Our TRIFRON® is used in the form of globe valves that allow strongly corrosive chemicals or solvents, as well as ball sheets and disks in angle valves.
Also, as shown below, the PTFE has been often used as V rings, cone rings, thrust washers and liners in the same valve.
In order to ensure their 100% airtightness, the sealing surfaces of our ball sheets are uniquely designed according to our customers: (1) total contact; (2) 1-point contact; (3) 2-point contact and; (4) half-contact.

Temperature/Pressure ratings
The service range of our TRIFRON® ball valves is defined according to temperature and pressure conditions. (Please see the pressure-temperature figures given below.)
TRIFRON® ball sheets
Please use the standard TRIFRON® ball sheets in relatively normothermic conditions in a low pressure region.
Our filled TRIFEON® ball sheets are designed to be used under high temperature and high pressure.
In addition, these filled sheets offer a wider operating range under conditions where water hammer often occurs.
